The project team at Bridge Point I-5 in Portland, Oregon is currently clearing the 35 acre site that will be the future location of two industrial tilt-up distribution centers totaling 650,000 square feet. The buildings will have 32-36’ clear heights with over 130 trailer stalls. The buildings are tailored to distribution, manufacturing and other industrial tenants with requirements as small as 20,000 square feet. Due to the fact the site is partially on a former landfill, the scope of work for the next six months includes demolition of the existing structures, crushing all foundations/asphalt to be reused on site and importing roughly 275,000cy of material for surcharge. Construction on the first two buildings will begin this fall.
