Project Description
This 40,000 sf project included construction of a fully equipped maintenance shop and administrative center for Northshore School District’s school buses, district maintenance trucks, and City of Bothell vehicles.
The exterior walls at the maintenance bays are concrete tilt-up with elastomeric exterior paint. The administration offices are steel framed with corrugated and flat metal panels. An in-slab hydronic heating system was installed throughout the entire maintenance bay.
Site improvements include parking for 150 buses, an automated bus wash system, fueling stations with underground gas and diesel tanks. Additionally, 43,000 cubic feet of wetlands were also enhanced during this project.
