Allenmore Marketplace
Project Description
Sierra Construction's involvement in building the Allenmore Marketplace shopping center in Tacoma, WA, included multiple projects and spanned over two years.
In 2013, Sierra Construction completed a 155,000 square foot Walmart Supercenter. This location included CMU exterior construction with translucent canopies and Trespa wall panels. This facility included a full grocery, general merchandise and garden center, along with a pharmacy, vision center, deli, baker, Subway restaurant and bank branch.
Sitework was also completed for a new modular drive-thru Starbucks near the completion of the Walmart.
In 2014, Sierra constructed two ground-up retail buildings totaling 7,000 square feet, plus a shell bank building which was later leased by Navy Federal Credit Union. The retail buildings included build-outs for T-Mobile and Jimmy Johns.
With each phase, sitework improvements were completed and included utilities, parking lot improvements, landscaping, site lighting, and new cast-in-place stairs and ramps.
