Project Description

This 152,608 square foot vinyl extrusion plant for Milgard marked the successful completion of the second Sierra-built facility for this client in Fife. This project was built in just 4.5 months and included a complex on-site water processing system for the cooling of 40 extrusion machines. 

A significant quantity of structural steel was used in this project to support the steel mezzanine, cat walk, monorail crane and two rail cranes. The facility also contains a grinding room for the storing and recycling of scrap vinyl.
