A new home to crank out racing parts
Longacre Racing Products late last year moved into a 43,300 square foot manufacturing facility at 16892 146th Street in Monroe.
The concrete tilt-up building was built by Sierra Construction of Woodinville for about $2.1 million. Longacre is using most of the warehouse to make racing parts and accessories for stock cars. About 7,000 square feet is office space.
Sierra and its subcontractors design-built the project’s electrical, HVAC, plumbing, gas piping system and fire protection. Subcontractors included SME Electric, Evergreen Refrigeration, Fawcett Painting, Stanley Roofing, Emerald Glass, JL Brooks Welding, Infra-Structures, and Cadman.
Jack Jaynes of Longacre Racing Products is the owner. Mulvanny/G2 was the architect. Sierra was led by project manager Dave Buckholtz and superintendent Jamey Clark.
