Employee Spotlight: Danyelle Krebs

Meet Sierra's Marketing Coordinator, Danyelle Krebs!

After graduating from the University of Washington, she did equine photography full time and took her time deciding which company and even industry to dedicate her career to. "Even at 22 years old, I had worked for a local photography studio for seven years. I knew I wanted to find a marketing role, but I didn't want to work in a firm amongst other marketers with various clients. I wasn't looking for somewhere to jump around to-and-from." 

Danyelle visited jobsites and would assist her dad in various landscape and carpentry projects around their property while growing up, so she had a special interest in the construction industry. "When I came across Sierra Construction's opening, I immediately applied because I knew it would be a great fit. That was even more solidified after my interview, meeting the people, learning more about Sierra and what they were all about. In fact, Sierra was the only company I ever applied to." Danyelle celebrates her 10th Anniversary with Sierra this year.

Do you have any pets?
Yes, a border collie named Millie, a chocolate lab named Gunner, and two quarter horses; Chloe and Dinero. The dogs come into the office with me on quiet days. 

How do you spend your free time?
Generally something in the outdoors, whether photographing horses, working on our property in Snohomish with my husband and step-kids, or at the barn riding. I also compete on the Quarter Horse circuit. You could say its pretty horse-focused. 

Favorite book? 
Throne of Glass series. Yes, I fell into that trap. 

What is your dream car?
1992 Ford Bronco, in the two-tone aqua and white.
