Sierra tilts first of three buildings in Koch Corporate Center

Walls were tilted for the first of three buildings at the Koch Corporate Center located in Tualatin, Oregon this past week.

The corporate center is designed for tenants with distribution or warehouse needs and includes build-to-suit office space. With the tilt-up completed April 21st, Building 1 totals 201,300 square feet with 32’ clear height and is the largest building in the Park.

The remaining two buildings, Building 5 (60,000 square feet) and Building 8 (46,875 square feet) will be tilted in May.

Project Completion: Sumner West Distribution Center

Avenue 55 has completed the development of a 6.62 acre Sumner West site located in Sumner, WA. The building is a concrete tilt-up, state-of-the-art distribution facility totaling 117,870 square feet.

The building features a clear height of 30’, 27 dock high doors, 2 grade level drive-in doors, 70 parking stalls, a hybrid roof structure, concrete truck aprons, and two office nodes with steel canopies over entryways.

Project Completion: Redmond Ridge 116 & 117

Recently completed, this Redmond Ridge project included the construction of two concrete tilt-up buildings, Building 116 (45,015 square feet) and Building 117 (40,625 square feet). The floor plan is set up to allow for up to four tenants per building. Building 116 has a sawtooth footprint which maximizes the use of the site while creating architectural interest. Helly Hansen takes half of Sumner warehouse

Tarragon says outdoor gear maker Helly Hansen will take more than half of its recently built 333,180-square-foot warehouse at SeaPort Logistics Center, 14218 Eighth St. E. in Sumner.

The tilt-up warehouse was built by Sierra Construction Co., with Innova Architecture as the designer and AHBL as the civil engineer.

Sierra completes tilt-up at Des Moines Creek Business Park

Sierra Construction recently completed the final concrete tilt-up in Phase 1 of Des Moines Creek Business Park.

Composed of three buildings with 30’ clear height ceilings, 165’-255’ bay depths, 119 dock height and 16 ground level loading bays, Phase 1 totals 535,958 square feet.

Sno-Isle Tech instructor Jerry Helm brought 25 students of the school’s Construction Trades program for a site visit to the 22 West Mercer project on November 5. Sierra’s Project Superintendent Jon Gebow, a former student of Sno-Isle, led the students through the site office and jobsite.

Stryker Business Center Wins Industrial Development of the Year

Stryker Business Center came home with the 2015 NAIOP Industrial Development of the Year award from the Night of the Stars.

A partnership of IDS Real Estate Group and Clarion Partners, the a three-building, 1.25 million-square-foot distribution park is located in Kent. Amazon leased two buildings totaling more than 1.1 million square feet for a distribution center, and is Amazon’s BFI4 and BFI5. Brighton Best International leased the third building, which has 125,000 square feet.
