Construction is underway on Prologis’ PDX 23, a 154,243 square foot distribution center in the Columbia Corridor East District of Portland, Oregon. Located on NE Airport Way, 6.8 acres of the 19.3 acre site are dedicated to the Wetlands Mitigation Area adjacent to the Columbia Slough. Work is underway on Building C of the Lakewood Logistics Center. This project includes the construction of a speculative 205,030 square foot warehouse with 3,160 square feet of office space. The completed building will have a 36' clear height, (4) 12’x14’ drive-in doors and (41) 9’x10’ dock-heigh doors. Sitework began on the former site of Gig Harbor Athletic Club earlier this summer, making way for a new fulfillment center for Tacoma Screw Products. The 9.17 acre site is located just north of the Tacoma Narrow’s bridge. The completed Order Fulfillment Center building will include 96,287 square feet of interior space, including a 5,000 square foot retail store, within an 80,000 square foot footprint. Sierra has delivered its second industrial project in the Troutdale Reynolds Industrial Park in the last two years. The Cubes at Troutdale is a new construction 349,080 square foot speculative industrial and logistics facility, developed by CRG Real Estate Solutions. This speculative concrete tilt-up has 84 dock-height and 4 drive-in doors, and a 36’ clear height. Additional project team members included Forum Studio, Stock & Associates and Alper Audi, Inc.

Project teams in DuPont, Washington recently completed a 628,000 square foot speculative building on a 32-acre site for developer Panattoni. Known as Building 2 of the Northwest Logistics Center during construction, this project is now being marketed as the DuPont Logistics Center. Sierra's tilt crew and NessCampbell tilted the 148 tilt panels in two phases and used 21,660 cubic yards of concrete for its construction. The panels weighed 70,000 to 180,000lbs. The largest building to-date in the Redmond Ridge Business Park, Building #113 is a 129,687 warehouse with a 24’ clear height. Sitework included clearing of the 8.75 acre site which logged 100,000 MBF of timber. The Club at the Park (known as Parkside II Apartments during construction) in the Columbia Tech Center development broke ground summer of 2017. This project consists of two, four-story slab-on-grade wood framed apartment buildings with ample at grade parking. In total, the development has 206 units, containing a mix of studio, one, and two-bedroom apartment homes. Crews at Blackbird Apartments recently removed the tower crane, in preparation of the final stretch towards completion. Framing was completed in April and the building is nearly tight to the weather. Concrete decks were poured within the lower hotel units and metal framing within the lower levels is in progress. Project teams began the first tilt for Troutdale Lot 10 this week. In total, there will be 111 wall tilt-panels and 12 dock/trash enclosure panels. This week includes picking 94 during the first tilt, and the remaining 29 on the second mobilization in June. Structural steel and roof structure are to follow the conclusion of the final tilt. First Glacier Logistics Center has been completed. Work began on First Glacier Logistics in October 2018. Built with a total of 55 tilt panels, limited slab space resulted in two separate tilts to successfully close the building exterior. This new distribution facility totals 66,000 square feet, with a 30’ clear height and sits on a 3.8 acre site.
