Project Update: Project Piper

Project Piper’s first tilt phase was completed at the end of September. 66 panels, and included the smallest panel in the building, at only 54′ tall and 73,340lbs. (yes, only) 

Breaking ground spring of 2017, Project Piper will be a 857,000 square foot distribution center to occupy three previously vacant lots in the Troutdale Reynolds Industrial Park. The 74 acre site will also have 2,500 car parking spaces, 276 trailer parking spaces, and over 60 loading docks.

Project Completion: LogistiCenter I5

Sierra completed Dermody Properties’ LogistiCenter I5 late this summer. Built on a 13 acre site in Lakewood, Washington, the 210,700 square foot concrete tilt-up industrial facility is just minutes from I5. The completed project features  a 30′ clear height, 4 grade doors, 22 dock doors, 147 car stalls and 130′ truck maneuvering. This project is also a finalist for NAIOP’s 2017 Night of the Stars event. New Project: Fife 4th Street Industrial

Sierra broke ground on the 50,000 square foot concrete tilt-up industrial warehouse in August. The 3 acre site sits just east of the Port of Tacoma.

New Project: Prologis Park Tacoma, Building D

The third building in the 80 acre Prologis Park Tacoma, Building D is a 317,000 square feet concrete tilt-up project with over 60 dock high doors. The scope of work includes limited sitework. Sierra Construction is also currently completing Building B, a 770,000 square foot triple-loaded distribution building. This project is due for completion Q2 2018.

Project Completion: Redmond Ridge Business Park, #108

This brand new construction warehouse allows for custom office, manufacturing, assembly and warehouse layout. Raised with concrete tilt-up panels, this 44,072 square foot building is a single story with a 22’ clear height. The building has 11 dock high and 4 grade level doors, with 50’x50 column spacing. High efficiency provides lower occupancy costs, adapting to modern day needs of flexible business park use.

Project Completion: Tradesmen Electric

This project resulted in a new office, warehouse and storage space for Tradesmen Electric company in Battle Ground, Washington. Scope of work included a tilt-up concrete structure with 6,000 square feet of office space and 20,000 square feet of warehouse space, as well as a secured parking lot with 20’ wide swinging gate, 47 paved parking spaces and a gravel outdoor storage yard. New Project: Seaway West

Seaway West is a new shell construction, concrete tilt-up project located in Everett, WA. Composed of two buildings, Building A will be 64,000 square feet, and Building B will be 122,000 square feet. Both buildings will have 30′ clear height, 50′-55′ typical bay spacing, dock high and grade level loading docks, 238 parking stalls, and 6″ reinforced slab. The buildings are divisible to up 20,000 square feet, providing a variety of options for future tenants. Due for completion Q1 2018.

Project Completion: Koch Corporate Center

The Koch Corporate Center is located in Tualatin, Oregon, and buildings 10, 11 and 12 in the development were completed this spring. The three buildings are designed for tenants with distribution or warehouse needs and includes build-to-suit office space. Building 10 will total 38,800 square feet, building 11 will be 42,500 square feet and building 12 will be 46,000 square feet.  

Sierra completed Buildings 1, 5 and 8 Winter 2016.

New Project: Des Moines Creek Business Park, Phase IV

Sierra Construction recently broke ground on Phase 4, located east of 24th on what was Furnery’s Nursery. When completed, the fourth phase will add an additional 512,121 square feet of industrial warehouse to the park with 36’ clear height, comprised of two buildings (Building A, 266,013 square feet and Building B, 224,678 square feet). This phase is due for completion in spring 2018.
