SunCap buys land in Redmond for FedEx distribution center


The north Carolina-based company is planning to build a ground distribution center for FedEx in Redmond. SunCap Property Group of Charlotte, N.C., acquired 24 acres of vacant land at 18795 N.E. 73rd St. for $16.87 million. Dennis Lisk, associate planner for the city of Redmond, said SunCap is planning a 212,000-square foot building for FedEx. Woodinville Fire fills a gap


Once again, it's a full house over at the Woodinville Fire & Rescue board of commissioners. Finally... at least for now. At its October 1 meeting the WF&R board appointed Roger Collins to fill the fire commissioner seat vacated when former commissioner Gerry Vucci resigned from the post in July due to moving away from the district for professional reasons. Maple Valley retail center expanding


Kite Realty Group is redeveloping the Four Corner Square shopping center at Southeast Kent-Kangley Road and Maple Valley Black Diamond Road Southeast in Maple Valley. A Kite news release says the Indianapolis-based company is doing the work in two phases. The first phase will add a 35,000- square-foot Johnson's Home and Garden store, and 18,200-square-foot Grocery Outlet and 11,000 square-feet of retail space in a building between them. Lululemon moves at University Village


Canadian-based Lululemon Athletica last month moved into 3,700 square feet of new space just three doors down from its old space at the University Village shopping center in Seattle. Sierra Construction Co. built out the new space, which has an exterior of 18-foot curtainwall with double glass storefront doors. Sierra Participates in Boy Scout Challenge


On Friday, September 21st, Sierra Construction participated in the 2012 Great Outdoor Team Odyssey Event at Camp Pigott in Snohomish to benefit the Boy Scouts of America.  The Sierra team consisting of Sarah Wentz, Josh Boettner, Sam McVey, and Matt Enany.  The group participated in numerous competitions throughout the day including but not limited to; clay pigeon shooting, rifle shooting, a canoe/row boat/mountain bike race, a high ropes course, a survival skills competition and rock climbing.  The big surprise of the [...]
