Sierra Participates in Boy Scout Challenge

On Friday, September 21st, Sierra Construction participated in the 2012 Great Outdoor Team Odyssey Event at Camp Pigott in Snohomish to benefit the Boy Scouts of America. The Sierra team consisting of Sarah Wentz, Josh Boettner, Sam McVey, and Matt Enany. The group participated in numerous competitions throughout the day including but not limited to; clay pigeon shooting, rifle shooting, a canoe/row boat/mountain bike race, a high ropes course, a survival skills competition and rock climbing. The big surprise of the day was Sarah Wentz beating out her three teammates in the rifle competition with a combined score of 92 out of 100! Sarah’s big day on the range combined with the support of her teammates helped Sierra earn a tie for 2nd place! It was a great day of team building and competitive fun, but the true winners are the at-risk youth who will enjoy the adventure of Scouting as a result of the generous support of all of the companies who sponsored the event!

A special thanks to John Teutsch of Teutsch Partners for inviting Sierra to be a part of this great event every year!
