Employee Spotlight: Phil Leu

Foreman Phil Leu’s has always been in construction. Beginning his career in Central California, Phil moved to Washington and started with Sierra in 2007. His first project was the South Hill/Puyallup Walmart. Over the past 10 years he has worked on numerous product types, but his favorite is tilt-ups. Phil is presently working on one of Sierra’s largest projects, an 811,000 square foot tilt-up called Hogum Bay Logistics Center in Lacey.

If you weren’t in construction, what would you be doing?

If I wasn’t in construction, I would be flying helicopters.

How do you spend your weekends?

I spend my weekends watching my son play football and spending time with my family.

Where is your favorite place to be?

My favorite place to be is on the coast.
