Employee Spotlight: Nolan Vella

Nolan began his construction career with Sierra in 2012. Since that time, he’s been involved in projects ranging from warehouse and distribution centers, high-end parking garage facilities, and related tenant improvement projects. Why Sierra? "The people for sure. The employees at Sierra make working for the company second to none."

What is your dream project location?

Next to a brewery in West Seattle. I live in West Seattle and I do enjoy the occasional beer.

How do you spend your weekends?

I spend most of my free time in the summer riding my bikes in Whistler. I mostly ride downhill but you’ll find me pedaling from time to time if I don’t have a lift to take me to the top. During the winter you can usually find me at the Snorting Elk at Crystal Mountain. Sometimes I actually ski.

What is the best book you have ever read?

I just finished Shantaram and would recommend it to just about any
