Alex + Amanda Newton

Congratulations goes to newlyweds Alex and Amanda!!

"Amanda and I met in 2017 in college on a structural engineering competition team designing and building steel bridges. She stayed on the engineering track as I veered off toward construction, but her first internship had been with Sierra and she was my foot in the door here! Long story short, we knew pretty quickly we were stuck together forever and in December 2019, I proposed…at the Deception Pass bridge. It’s been a wild year and a half since then, with her completing her Master of Science in Structural Engineering and us planning a wedding through the various phases of COVID restrictions, but we had the most incredible day on May 29th at Lord Hill Farms with family and friends to celebrate tying the knot!" - Alex Newton
