Employee Spotlight: Jarrod Cooper

Jarrod became a part of Sierra in 1999 as a carpenter. He later became Sierra's Service and Warranty Department Manager in 2003. Jarrod's projects include small works jobs for past and present clients which can include complete tenant improvement projects to simple single-room make-overs. A recent project he managed was the 5th-floor renovation at Emerald Downs.

Before coming to Sierra, what have you done for work? 

Laborer/Carpenter

What was your favorite project, or project type? 

Changing lightbulbs, killing spiders.

If you weren’t in construction, what would you be doing? 

I would love to be a farmer/rancher, seriously, a lifelong dream.

What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
