Spotlight: Wayde Turner

turner

Superintendent Wayde Turner's time at Sierra goes back to the Tramco hangar days at Paine Field. He was drawn to Sierra because of their expertise in concrete work. "What brought me to Sierra was that we performed the site concrete with our own crew. We have a great crew and its fun to work with these guys. Definitely a family atmosphere here with the field and office people." Wayde also appreciates that there is no 'typical' day for him. "You never know whats going to happen from day to day."

What would you be doing if you weren't in construction? Probably the ball boy for the Seahawks.

If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be? A Harley Davidson test rider.

Favorite food? Steak and potatoes. But I can't resist a good avocado.

What is your dream project location? Anywhere north of Seattle, and where it doesn't rain... just a dream.

What is your dream car? Convertible 1963 Lincoln Continental
