Spotlight: Phil Leu

Leu-Phillip-crop-1

Foreman Phil Leu has always been in construction. Beginning his career in Central California, Phil moved to Washington and started with Sierra in 2007. His first project was the South Hill/Puyallup Walmart. Over the past 10 years he has worked on numerous product types, but his favorite is tilt-ups. Phil is presently working on one of Sierra’s largest projects, an 811,000 square foot tilt-up called Hogum Bay Logistics Center in Lacey.

Where is your dream project location? Would have to be on the coast somewhere.

How do you spend your weekends? Watching my son play football and spending time with my family.

Favorite food? Apricots are my favorite fruit, and cauliflower my favorite vegetable.

If you weren't in construction, what would you be doing? If I wasn’t in construction, I would be flying helicopters.
