Please welcome Sara Hansen to Sierra! A part of the Portland team, Sara grew up in Sellersburg, Indiana. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Architecture. "I found that I loved project management more than design during my last internship in college, so I decided to look outside of the architecture field once I graduated. I definitely made the right decision for me, and I can’t wait to get on a job site!"
If you weren't in construction what would you be doing?
Realistically, working in an architecture firm. But my dream job would be travelling the world and taking pictures for National Geographic.
What is one thing you couldn't live without?
Chapstick! I have them scattered in drawers all over my apartment.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
I had never been camping until last year, and now it’s my favorite summer getaway
How do you spend your weekends?
Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.
What is your favorite type of food?
Definitely Chinese. Portland has a couple really great vegan Chinese options.
