New Hire: Diane Yoo

DSC0246-red

Please welcome Project Engineer Diane Yoo! She is a Construction Management graduate from the University of Washington. Diane grew up in Seoul, Korea until the age of 13, when she moved to the States.

What brought you to Sierra?
From the beginning I knew I wanted to work for a mid-size company where opportunity to learn and grow is readily available and relationship between members of the company is much closer and intimate. I’ve heard good things about Sierra Construction from my peers and professors while I was still at school, and when I walked into the office, Sierra seemed like a place with a family friendly work environment and a supportive management team.

If you weren't in construction, what would you be doing?
I had a short phase in my life where I thought of becoming a wedding planner.

What is your favorite pastime?
Reading, solving jigsaw puzzles, watching TV. I usually spend my weekends getting brunch with friends, relaxing, going to church, etc.

Anything else you want to share?
I am a night owl desperately trying to become a morning person (not by choice, but because of the way construction industry is set up).
