Hayden + Stacie Vara

Congratulations to our very own IT Assistant Hayden Vara! Hayden and Stacie were wed April 25.

"Our original plan (pre-quarantine) was to have a large celebration with friends and family on May 2 up in Mount Vernon, then go on an amazing honeymoon in Cabo. We tried to keep an optimistic mindset as all the restrictions started being enacted but eventually came to the conclusion that we weren’t going to get the wedding we wanted. It was emotional, not going to lie. But in end we realized all we need for a wedding was each other, and that was enough.

So we ended up having a zoom wedding on April 25. We gathered our immediate family and streamed it to our other guests from the back deck of our families house. We said our vows, sealed the deal, and cut the cake. We spent the rest of the day driving around in a limo delivering slices of cake to family who weren’t able to be with us. It was an amazing day and even though it didn’t turn out anything like we planned, we still had a perfect wedding."
