Completed: Traxx Apartments

"Sierra All,

I am pleased to announce the fantastic news that Traxx Apartments received Temporary Certificate of Occupancy on March 15, 2024! This milestone represents countless days of dedication and hard work from all who were involved, and I couldn’t be more proud of what we have accomplished together.

Reflecting back to April 2022, when we broke ground on Traxx Apartments while Terrace Station East was crossing the finish line, it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come. Traxx Apartments is located in Mountlake Terrace and was the City’s first transit-oriented development. When you enter Traxx Apartments you will notice the commitment to excellence that this project showcases. It is comprised of 210 market rate units, retail suites, an amenity lounge, fitness room, and ample parking.

Allow me to highlight some of the features that truly set Traxx Apartments apart and make it a standout addition to Terrace Station:

Upgraded units, boasting vaulted ceilings, high-end appliance packages, upgraded plumbing fixtures, and tile tub surrounds.

The implementation of a wireless mesh WiFi system, with 226 wireless access points spread throughout the building, ensuring seamless connectivity for all residents.

Three courtyards throughout the building creating modulation and light-filled corridors, with private courtyard patios ranging in size from 300 SF to 700 SF.

Expansive roof deck spanning 6,300 SF, complete with two BBQ’s, three fire pits, and a chess board crafted from pavers, offering an impressive space for socializing.

Thoughtful additions such as built-in kitchen pantries and ceiling fans in bedrooms enhance the comfort and convenience for residents.

The most eye-catching feature at Traxx Apartments is Roger’s vision of creating the entrance to replicate a London Tube station. This stunning entrance was brought to life by Expert Drywall’s precision framing, handcrafted subway tiles from New York, and a large tube station style clock. All adding to the uniqueness of this memorable entrance.

None of these achievements would have been possible without the dedication of each member of the Sierra Construction team. Many thanks Matt Enany, Kevan Muzzy, Justin Standfill, Scott Mathis, Alex Newton, Lisa Diebler, Ryan Brown, Dennis Riley, Noe Torres, Smitty, and the entire field staff for their tireless efforts and unwavering attention to detail throughout the project.

Furthermore, I want to express my appreciation to our development team – Roger Collins, Kory Knudson, Aaron Brown, and Carl Reusser. Your vision, leadership, and relentless pursuit of excellence have been instrumental in bringing the dream of Traxx Apartments to life.

As we celebrate our success, I wish each of you a fantastic and safe Memorial Day weekend!" - Luke Lambert, Project Manager
