Project Completion: Willow Crossing

Willow Crossing (4)

Willow Crossing is a transit-oriented development on the Link Light Rail line, a block from the Othello Station in South Seattle. It provides rent-restricted housing for residents whose income does not exceed 60% of the area’s median income for their family size. The building features 211 modern studio, one and two bedroom units which feature luxury vinyl plank flooring, carpeted bedrooms, quartz countertops, large windows, as well as a washer and dryer. A rooftop deck boasts views of Mt. Rainier, lounge seating and tenant BBQs. Well outfitted units, an extensive list of tenant accommodations, and just a few quick stops to work, the great outdoors or a night out on the town make Willow Crossing an exceptional new living destination.

Though certification was not pursued, Willow Crossing also qualifies for the Evergreen Standard Sustainability program. This includes all LED lighting, low flow plumbing, native plantings, as well as both solar photo-voltaic and thermal systems.

This project was also recently featured on King 5, where government officials visited the project and spoke to the success of an affordable complex on par with market-rate housing.
