Final Phases of Des Moines Business Park Underway

Phase 3 of Panattoni Development’s Des Moines Creek Business Park is well underway.

Phase 3 includes the construction of two concrete tilt-up warehouse buildings totaling 502,194 square feet. Sierra Construction is the general contractor, and the project is due for completion Spring 2017.

Phase 2’s 299,000 square foot, five story office building will be home to the Federal Aviation Administration’s new offices and is slated to open in 2018.

Being developed by Panattoni and owned by the Port of Seattle, the Business Park will total 1.6 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space and provide over 2,000 jobs in the city of Des Moines. Its location allows for access via multiple forms of mass transit, including the Angle Lake Light Rail Station which is also due for completion in 2016.

The project is anticipated to receive LEED Silver certification.
