Please welcome Project Engineer Manda Catterlin to the Oregon team!

Manda was born in Missoula, Montana, but grew up in Oregon. Before coming to Sierra, she worked in the industry for seven years. "I have a background in Water and Wastewater Engineering, and Commercial/Hospitality Construction."

After graduating from Oregon State University, she worked for a Civil Engineering firm as an EIT 5 years before changing paths to work for a general contractor. She spent the last 2 years working for them in commercial/hospitality industry.

"I was referred to Sierra from a private developer, who was a mutual client of both Sierra and my previous employer. I love construction because of the way it has shaped the world. It amazes me to see what can be built and see how its built. Even the invention of the materials we use to construct with, is interesting, from steel and concrete, to the invention of the machinery we use."

If she wasn't in construction? "Personal trainer or FBI agent!"

How do you spend your weekends?
Exercising, cleaning and attending my children's sporting events. LeeAnn 13 and Amare 6, and their favorites are ice skating and swimming. Plenty of cuddles and walks with Charlie the French Bulldog, and our cat Tink.

What is the best advice you've ever heard?
Don't move in with him as long as you can, because once you do, you'll be an old piece of furniture. - Grandma

What is one thing you couldn't live without?
Margaritas!

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
To cure mental illness. Or create the fountain of youth.
