Building Final: Centerpoint E Marginal

Centerpoint

All,

I’m happy to announce after a 3+ year process of abatement, demo, site remediation and multiple permit delays, Centerpoint East Marginal received a building final from the city of Tukwila today. It’s been a long road with lots of hard work and patience from a lot of people at Sierra.

Project challenges included demo of existing buildings/utilities and 150 ft. water tower, shoreline environmental capping and restoration, offsite improvements, and a long list of superfund actions required by the DOE/EPA - not to mention a flood from the river during our 2nd tilt.

Thank you to everyone involved - Kris Milarii, Conor Cahill, Ed Equihua, Carrie Bodnar, Sio Salafai, Jorge Martinez, Ricardo Gutierrez, Dustin Peck, Steve Neisinger, and our fearless leader Andy Bley. This was not an easy site or jurisdiction to complete this project in but it ended up reaching substantial completion on time thanks to a lot of hard work from the folks above.

*Honorable mention to both Hos Bros and Olsen Electric who have been involved in this job since the pre-covid days.

- Mike Stout, Project Manager
