This negotiated project involved the construction of a 68,747 square foot concrete tilt-up building in Redmond Ridge. The structure includes a steel joist/wood deck roof, single ply roofing, freeze protection, heating, fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems. Interior features include task lighting, storefront for future tenants, drive-in and truck dock doors. Site improvements including utilities, asphalt paving, landscaping, site furniture and dumpster enclosures. The project was completed below the original budget despite permit delays and winter time construction. This was accomplished through cost saving opportunities including the redesign of site grades during construction to balance the site and reduce the cost of mass earthwork.
