Central Park Tennis Club


Central Park Tennis Club at 5820 125th Lane NE in Kirkland has undergone a 31,440-square-foot expansion. A new concrete tilt-up building with four tennis courts brings the club's total to 12 indoor and 6 outdoor courts. Prescott Apartments to break ground with new 155 unit building along North Portland’s Interstate Avenue


With Portland's tight rental housing market continuing to push new construction projects, Sierra Construction of Washington state has announced it will break ground on the 155-unit Prescott Apartments on North Interstate Avenue and Prescott Street on Wednesday, April 4. Sierra starts Arbor Village Apartments


Sierra Construction recently broke ground on Arbor Village Apartments at 23601 56th Ave. in Mountlake Terrace. When finished in August 2013, the five-story building will have 9,800 square feet of ground floor retail topped with  123 apartments. $46M Safeway center opens in Canyon Park


Safeway has opened a lifestyle shopping center in the Canyon Park area of Bothell. Property Development Centers, a wholly owned subsidiary of Safeway Inc., developed the project. Freight & Ho was the project architect, and Sierra Construction was the general contractor. PDC is a national developer of Safeway-anchored centers. Vulcan, HAL win top honors from NAIOP


NAIOP named Vulcan Real Estate the region's developer of the year Friday. It was the second year in a row Vulcan won the title. The year's top deal was done by HAL Real Estate Investments, which acquired the new and empty Seventh & Madison building on First Hill and leased it to Polyclinic. Key Bank opens Kenmore branch


Kenmore's new KeyBank opened its doors Aug. 29 at 7830 N.E. Bothell Way. The 3,900-square-foot branch is Key's 164 retail location in Washington and features a video wall with eight flat-screen televisions to display helpful information to clients, and Teller 21 systems to speed the processing of client paperwork. Kenmore opens new library doors


It was a long time coming , and the celebration was well attended. Sierra building Safeway project in Bothell


Sierra Construction Co. is building a project for Property Development Centers, a subsidiary of Safeway Inc., in Bothell's Canyon Park that will have a 50,475 square foot Safeway and 39,000 square feet of other retail space. Kenmore KeyBank opening in late summer


Sierra Construction is working toward a late summer finish on a new KeyBank branch at 7830 NE Bothell Way in Kenmore. The 3,900 square foot metal-stud building will have a brick veneer exterior. New Toyota Dealership Shines


Sierra Construction recently completed the new Titus-Will Toyota dealership in Tacoma.  The project involved the construction of a new 53,000 sf dealership to replace an existing new car sales building. MOD Pizza gets C of O


Sierra Construction is pleased to announce that the newest MOD Pizza #4 on Broadway officially received it’s C of O inspection final on March 29, 2011.  MOD Pizza was open for business on Thursday 3/31, and gave out free slices of pizza (over 1000 pizzas!) to neighbors on April Fools Day.  Check out the latest MOD Pizza restaurant next time you’re in Seattle! Bothell, district share transportation center

King County Metro Atlantic/Central Base Operations Building


Currently under construction, the Atlantic/Central Base Operations Building is the final phase of the 22-acre, $100 million Metro Atlantic/Central Base Expansion project that began in 2002. Teutsch starts construction of industrial project in Lacey


Today Teutsch Partners will start building a 200,000-square-foot warehouse/industrial project in Lacey. In 2007, when more than 5 million square feet was being built in the South Puget Sound region, such an announcement would not have been big news. But now, with the industrial market still treading water, only about 750,000 square feet is being built, including Teutsch's project. Pop Keeney facelift heads for home


The new grandstand on the visitors' side has been erected, the masonry for the two new locker rooms and concession stand has been completed and bulldozers are leveling the land around Pop Keeney Stadium that will eventually become a 500-car parking lot. Shoreline college expands automotive training


Shoreline Community College on Tuesday cut the ribbon on its $4.2 million Professional Automotive Training Center expansion. The project added 26,000 square feet to the 32,000-square-foot center at J6101 Greenwood Ave. N. in Shoreline. KCLS Ready To Start Kenmore Library


The King County Library System is breaking ground Tuesday on its $10.49 million Kenmore Library. The 9,500 square-foot branch is being built by Sierra Construction at 6531 N.E. 181st St., about a half-mile from the existing library. City of Auburn buys space in building near City Hall


Part of a new office building in downtown Auburn sold last week for nearly $24.5 million, public records show. The city of Auburn bought 61 percent of the 88,000-square-foot One Main Street Professional Plaza, which was developed by JLO Washington Enterprises. The price works out to $454 per square foot, a staggering sum given the struggling economy and the weak market in South King County.
