Throughout our history we have pursued construction projects that fall within the categories in which we specialize, like warehouse, manufacturing or industrial buildings. There have been times, however, where we have been asked or given the opportunity to build special projects, jobs just outside our category types where a client has asked us to be involved as builder or construction manager. To date, we’ve successfully completed over 2,000,000 square feet of special projects, along with the construction management of the 140 acre Emerald Downs Project in Auburn. Project Woodinville Athletic Center Woodinville, Washington Owner WAC Partners, LLC Architect SynThesis, LLC Description Construction of this 60,000 square foot building included concrete tilt-up, CMU block, and metal siding. The building houses four health and fitness related tenants, including All-Star Fitness, Homecourt Basketball, Northlake Sports Therapy and Sun Spa. Building features include a regulation 25 yard swimming pool, basketball courts, glass paneled overhead doors and a glass soffit over the reception desk in the health club. The site work involved the construction of a 300 foot retaining wall, an underground vault, as well as a 35 foot high terraforce wall.
