Building 2 at White River Corporate Center Receives LEED Certification

Sierra Construction recently completed Building 2 of the DCT Industrial’s White River Corporate Center in Sumner, WA. With Gaia Development as the project’s LEED consultant and working closely with Carlile Coatsworth Architects, Building 2 received Core and Shell LEED Silver Certification earlier this week.

Two Sierra projects tilted in November

Sierra Construction Company recently tilted walls on two projects in November.

 

The first building, tilted early November, is known as Building #108 in Redmond Ridge’s business park. Due for completion in early 2017, the 44,782 square foot concrete tilt-up structure is owned by Portland based developer PacTrust.

New Project: LogistiCenter at I-5

Work has begun for Dermody Properties’ LogistiCenter at I-5. The finished project will be a 210,700-square-foot industrial facility on a 13 acre site near the intersection of I-5 and SR 512 in Lakewood, Washington.

New Project: Linden Flats

GMD plans 170 affordable units for site on Linden, near Aurora

GMD Development and architect BCRA have gone through the second design review meeting for Linden Flats, a six-story complex with 170 affordable units at 13280 Linden Ave. N.

New Project: Stadium Apartments

Breaking ground in August 2016, the 220,000 square foot mixed-use Stadium Apartment building will be located in the Stadium District of Tacoma.

The project will have 172 residences varying from studio, one and two bedroom units. The project will also have 2,260 square feet of retail space and offer 204 parking spaces.

This project is due for completion by August 2018.

Project Completion: Uptown 11

Completed in August, this Queen Anne mixed use project is a three story, 42,700 square foot building with ground retail and upper floor residential units. The two and a half level underground parking garage has 65 parking stalls.

Nation’s largest used car dealer starts work

LYNNWOOD — Construction is under way on a CarMax dealership along Highway 99.

The publicly traded company bills itself as the nation’s largest used auto dealership. It’s big enough to rank on the Fortune 500 list of wealthiest U.S. companies.

Work started last month on the 9-acre site of the former Detroit Autoworks property along Highway 99 at 212th Street SW. The project is expected to be finished in March.

Highline Place – Phase 1 Groundbreaking

Monday held the ceremonial groundbreaking for Highline Place – Phase 1 in Des Moines, Washington.

The finished project will feature 160-bed, state of the art student housing  units for Highline College, and over 12,000 square feet of ground floor retail space. Each unit will have kitchens and living areas, and residents will have access to a large rooftop community room and deck. Tilt completed at DCT White River Corporate Center

The final panel was tilted this morning for Building 2 at DCT White River Corporate Center in Sumner. Due for completion fall of this year, the 251,000 square foot distribution center is owned by DCT Industrial.
