Lynwood retail center finished off
The $3.5 million second phase of the Alderwood Parkway retail project was recently completed at 19220 Alderwood Mall Parkway in Lynwood by Sierra Construction.
The project included 30,000 square feet of retail above a 30,000-square-foot underground parking garage made of cast-in-place concrete walls and post-tensioned decking.
The retail building has CMU exterior walls and steel joists with metal decking. Exterior finishes include CMU block, brick, composite metal panels, ceramic tile, storefront windows, and steel canopies.
Tenants include La-Z-Boy, Sterling Savings and T-Mobile. Sierra built the tenant improvements for La-Z-Boy and T-Mobile while it was working on the building shell. The Woodinville contractor also built the project's 30,000-square-foot first phase.
The second phase has a 4,000-square-foot space available for lease.
Alderwood Parkway Developments is the owner. CDA Architects was the architect.
Major subcontractors included: Donovan Excavating, Green River Construction, Spartan Concrete, Northwest Steel Erection, Northshore Sheet Metal, Emerald Glass, Marquise Drywall, ThyssenKrupp Elevator, DK Systems, and Sinder Electric.
Sierra's team included project manager John Barnes and superintendent Bryan Hayes.
