Sierra's team successfully completed this Performing Arts Center project in August, 2003. At 44,000 square feet, the facility includes a 600 seat theater with stage, dressing rooms, a craft room for set design and a removable orchestra pit. There is also a Black Box room for small performances, TV or film work. The Arts Wing provides classrooms for art, graphics and photography as well as band and choir storage areas and practice rooms. The two sections of this building meet in an open gallery area with exposed architectural steel, skylights and exposed duct work. Additional project elements included over 19 different voltage systems, a remote controlled heating system, the addition of a soccer field, street improvements, pathways, and the renovation of a wood shop into a math and drafting room.
