Sierra Construction Co. recently finished phase three of Des Moines Creek Business Park and has started phase four for Panattoni Development Co.

Phase three – 502, 189 square feet of warehouses – was built on 30 acres west of 24th Avenue South and north of South 216th Street. It consists of a 150, 103-square-foot concrete tilt­-up building with a 30-foot clear height and a 352,086-square­ foot tilt-up building with. a 36-foot clear height.

The DJC reported in June that phase three is 95 percent leased.

Phase four is being built across 24th, on the former Furney’s Nursery site. It includes a 266,000-square-foot warehouse that is already leased to an unknown tenant and a second ware­house of 246,000 square feet. Peter Wooding and Chris Corr of Kidder Mathews are marketing those buildings.

Panattoni recently paid $15 million for the 22.4 acres for phase four, which is expected to be finished next spring.

Here’s the team for phase three: CollinsWoerman, archi- ct; Barghausen Consulting engineers, civil; Shutler Consult­ing Engineers, structural; and Terra-Associates, geotechnical engineer.

Major subcontractors were State Mechanical Co., Miles Sand & Gravel, Atlas Construction Specialties, Fox Electric Co., Patriot Fire Protection, Acco Engineered Systems, Panelized Structures and Alite Construction.

MetLife is Panattoni’s financial partner on the business park.

The second phase of the park got underway last year and should be finished in early 2018. It involves a 300,000-square­foot office building that will be leased to the Federal Aviation Administration. CollinsWoerman is the architect and Abbott Construction is the general contractor.

The first phase team was also led by Sierra and CollinsWoerman. It consists of three buildings of 157,200, 145,200 and 233,600 square feet. Tenants include K2 Sports, Organically Grown, Greencore and Meiko.
