Canadian-based Lululemon Athletica last month moved into 3,700 square feet of new space just three doors down from its old space at the University Village shopping center in Seattle.
Sierra Construction Co. built out the new space, which has an exterior of 18-foot curtainwall with double glass storefront doors. Just inside the storefront, wall are covered with teak wood paneling and purple tile.
The sales and fit areas have black oak wood flooring along with vibrant paint colors on each wall. Two chandeliers were installed and hung from a 16-foot soffit above the fit room area.
The back of house has a stockroom with 9-foot-tall storage racks, a kitchenette for employees and a manager’s office.
The entire space is outfitted with shelves, cubbies and slat wall to showcase Lululemon’s technical athletic apparel for yoga, running and dancing.
Lululemon designed the space in-house. Sierra’s project manager was Travis Torgerson and its superintendent was Jamey Clark.
