Sierra employees earn LEED AP

Sierra employees Kristi Stoller, Sheldon Kitts and Jason Baerlocher recently achieved their LEED AP through the Green Building Certification Institute.  By becoming LEED AP’s, Kristi, Sheldon and Jason have distinguished themselves as leaders and as resources for others seeking to achieve their sustainability goals. Their specialized knowledge of green building principles and the LEED Green Building Rating System will benefit our future projects and open doors to new LEED building opportunities.

All three individuals will be listed in the LEED Professional Directory at www.gbci.org.

Sierra building Safeway project in Bothell

Sierra Construction Co. is building a project for Property Development Centers, a subsidiary of Safeway Inc., in Bothell’s Canyon Park that will have a 50,475 square foot Safeway and 39,000 square feet of other retail space.

Lakeside at Canyon Park is made of integral color split-face CMU, stone masonry and EIFS. THe Safeway will have a bakery; meat, deli and seafood departments; and a Starbucks.
